The Samsung adding a new member to its Galaxy S line with a major incremental upgrade next year, named Samsung Galaxy S9, and the S9 plus. The devices will be 2018’s first major handset. Samsung’s Galaxy S9 launch will give away to discuss mobile technology for the next twelve months.
The latest leaked images of Samsung Galaxy S9 shows that the device will likely sport both the rear camera and a fingerprint sensor. Though the smaller handset will only have one rear camera, the larger Galaxy S9 Plus is reported to have a dual rear camera setup. The device is rumored to sport the same bezel-less design of its predecessor, although it will not use a 21:9 display.
According to the latest report, the handset will have a 5.77-inch display and will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 chipset from Qualcomm. The predecessor of the Galaxy S9 is powered by the Snapdragon 835 and the company claims that the new smartphone will offer 25 percent performance increase and 30 percent improved graphics rendering.
The leaked photographs of the Samsung Galaxy S9 show that the devices are made of metal and glass. The device provides connection to 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE networks and it also serves 802.11b/g/n WiFi connectivity and GPS navigation. The company is expected to launch the handset at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in February next year. The company will probably reveal more information about the product during the event.
