Xiaomi is planning to introduce the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus smartphones. The company will announce the smartphones on December 7 in China and a new promotional video for these two phones has just come out.
The video has appeared in China and the company has re-uploaded it to YouTube for users’ convenience. The report says the video is a leaked promo for the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus.
The company has not revealed the details about devices’ price and specs yet, but the rumor says both devices will have slim bezels and roughly 18:9 screens.
The Redmi 5 is expected to be pretty cheap. The new Redmi series will be very important for Xiaomi, especially in India. The previous series that means the Redmi 4 and Redmi Note 4 were the two most popular devices in the country, according to a report.
It’s not clear that how much the Redmi 5 will cost yet, but Redmi will be available for 6,999 rupees in India, or about $108. The phone will feature a metal build, a fingerprint sensor, a 5-inch 720p display, a 13-megapixel camera. It will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor, and a 4,100mAh battery.
