PUBS Set To Launch for Xbox One In December

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is now coming to Xbox One on December 12, 2017. During Paris Games Week, Microsoft and developer Bluehole announced that the remarkably popular battle royale game will be released in early access for the console. The game will probably come to other console platforms in the future.

Beginning December 12, Xbox One players will be allowed to play PUBS over the Xbox Game Preview program. Bluehole also said that the development is “on track” as the developer is working simultaneously on both PC and Xbox One versions. Both have separate roadmaps and will give different experience. The company will release the 1.0 PC version on both PC and on Xbox One in late December.

Some Xbox One features and functionality will change and come online over time like they currently have on PC. Bluehole stated that the feedback is critical to the game’s success, so it wants responses from Xbox One fans on what they think about PUBG and what are their expectations from the next version of the game.

Bluehole is offering some exclusive content for Xbox One fans in the form of special cosmetic packs. There will be three packs available for the Xbox One for a limited time:  the PUBG Warrior Pack, Accessory Pack, and Tracksuit Pack.

Microsoft is producing the Xbox One version, it is reportedly trying to extend the game’s exclusivity period on Xbox.

Bluehole is working with their partners at Microsoft and it is very excited to meet players on the island on December 12.
