Nintendo Shared its Fastest-Selling Switch and 3DS Games

The Japanese video game company released a nascent hybrid console, the Nintendo Switch.  The Switch rapidly became the best-selling console in September in the company’s history.

The company has shared a new list of the top 10 best –selling 3DS games, and the top five-sellers on the nascent hybrid home/portable console.

One of the console’s launch best-selling titles on the system is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The game is known as one the greatest video games of all time and has sold 4.70 million copies worldwide on September 30.

Nintendo released the biggest Switch called Super Mario Odyssey last week, and now the company revealed best revenues and profit for its latest quarter.

In the top-selling 3DS games list three of the top five positions are occupied by Pokemon titles. The first 3DS installments of series, X and Y, have sold 16.20 million copies and the games are included in the handheld’s all-time best-selling games list.

Nintendo also increased its annual Switch sales forecast to 14 million units from 10 million units.

Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima announced at an earnings briefing on Monday, “We’ve boosted Switch production in order to meet strong demand from our customers as it was difficult for customers to buy the consoles at retail stores.”

Kimishima also said that the Switch’s true power will be tested during the upcoming holiday season.

The company is trying to reduce its reliance on the console business and stabilize varying profit by moving towards new areas like as smartphone gaming and theme parks for the future development of the company.
