Porsche Is Launching a New $2,000 Passport Subscription Service

Porsche is starting a Passport service in November in Atlanta that will give customers access to a number of their sports cars and SUVs. The German company’s North American affiliate announced Tuesday that this new Passport service will give you frequent car swaps, unlimited mileage and coverage for the essentials through a mobile app.

The automaker labels it a “white-glove” service designed to give customers access to a different Porsche through an app.

Dubbed Porsche Passport, the program being rolled out in metro Atlanta first, and the $2,000 per month option will give you on-demand access to eight vehicles, including Boxster, Cayenne, Cayman S, and Macan S. if you will set up to the $3,000 Acceleration plan, then you will have unrestricted access to different 22 Porsche models, including the Panamera 4s sports sedan and Porsche 911 Carrera S.

A subscription fee to Porsche Passport includes vehicle tax and registration, detailing, insurance, maintenance, and applicable taxes. There is a one-time $500 activation fee at first and credit check.

Porsche’s Klaus Zellmer said, “We now have Millennials who are incredibly successful and have the financial power to own a Porsche, but might not be willing to own a Porsche today.” “We are pretty sure it will help sales, especially in the mid and long term.”

Subscribers can select vehicle through their Porsche Passport, app and then Porsche will handle the rest. For now, Porsche Passport is just limited to people in Atlanta.
