Samsung and Microsoft officially announced the Samsung HMD Odyssey today, citing it as a “premium” option among the Windows VR headsets. Microsoft revealed its ecosystem for Windows-based virtual and augmented reality interfacing, at its mixed reality event in San Francisco.
Samsung HMD Odyssey provides superior picture quality and the highest resolution display. The headset is available for pre-order from today in the U.S. only and will be available in the U.S., Hong-Kong, China, Korea, and Brazil later this year.
The Samsung HMD Odyssey has dual 3.5-inch AMOLED displays, as well as it delivers vibrant colors, and deeper blacks, providing crisper, better lifelike images. Users can find uppermost virtual experiences nearby them through the 110-degree field of view.
