Poor diet is harmful to our health and it can also lead to death, according to the new study. Usually, people follow wrong diet routine like they eat the wrong sorts of food for making good health.
According to the Global Burden of Disease’s huge and ongoing study, the reason behind early death is lowering a number of whole grains, fruits, nuts and seeds and fish oil and increasing the salt.
The study was published by the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington and the data were collected and estimated from every country in the world. Five papers based on life expectancy and the deaths’ and ill’s causes and risk were published.
After smoking, poor diet is considered as a risk factor for early death. High blood glucose, high body mass index (BMI), and high blood pressure are other risks factors which can lead to diabetes, obesity, and cholesterol respectively. And all these factors are associated eating the wrong food.
“This is really large,” Dr. Christopher Murray, IHME’s director, told the Guardian. “It is amongst the really big problems in the world. It is a cluster that is getting worse.”
Sugary drinks are dangerous for health and we need to know about healthy compounds in diets that will provide protection, he said.
People are living longer with spending more days in ill health like obesity which is the big reason. More than a billion people are suffering from mental health and substance misuse disorders.
