Facebook is allowing users to post their Instagram stories to Facebook. The company really wants people to watch Stories on its own app and it is turning to the Instagram to work out its idea.
Some Instagram users are seeing a share option for Instagram stories to the main Facebook app. The new feature is being tested by some users, primarily in Portugal, according to a spokesperson from Facebook and Instagram.
Instagram Stories are very beneficial for the app, especially for small businesses and companies who are interested to connect with their audience without messages. Instagram stories are used by 250 million people daily. In August 2016, the company has added the Snapchat copycat feature. Facebook then introduced the Stories feature on its main app in January. But it is not working effectively like Instagram.
The company’s spokesperson said, “We are always testing ways to improve the experience on Instagram and make it easier to share any moment with the people who matter to you. We have no other plans to share at this time.”
For now, Instagram’s future plans and the current test are not so clear. The Instagram spokesperson has confirmed the test but has not revealed the company’s plans.
Facebook is going to keep trying and trying until something lights the spark and the company said, “Well, maybe people don’t want this feature in every app” and accepted the failure.
Porting Instagram Stories into the Facebook is a very great idea and it is beneficial for both companies who are providing a whole suit of apps.
