Samsung launches in less than two months the Galaxy Note 8 and it is expected to have similarly with Galaxy S8+, so there should not be much surprises form them with respect to specs or design. Galaxy Note 8 is anticipated to have few features as exclusive, including the S Pen Stylus and on the back the Isocell Dual Camera. With this new rumor, the new Notes may be coming with more built-in memory than Galaxy S8.
Korean site Osen, acquired news from an official of Samsung Electronics unnamed that the Galaxy Note 8 will be available in 64GB and 128GB versions. The Galaxy S8 has 64GB of built-in storage. However, both phones support storage expansion through microSD cards up to 256GB.
The Galaxy Note 8 base price will be around $1,000 or $1,100 as per the market. The base price gets you to lowest tier storage and it is safe that the 128 GB model will be expensive. Apparently the components price take the price up and nothing is mentioned about the parts in Galaxy Note 8 that are making it to be expensive.
The report says the Galaxy Note 8 will be launching in New York on August 26th, the same date as mentioned in other recent reports. It is unclear whether the site is repeating the earlier rumors, or it is the date that is confirmed. Traditionally, Samsung has announced previous Galaxy Note models to arrive in late August or early September, just soon enough to beat new iPhones to market.
