This Weekend Records 2 Mild Earthquakes In The Kansas Region, Says Geological Survey OfficialsIn the Belle Plaine, Kansas, till now the state observed not less than 7 in total small or mild earthquakes in this month of May, which also add two more times that occurred this memorial day weekend in the state, says US Geological Survey.

According to the government agency, these two earthquakes are minuscule, and most of the people in the region didn’t observe it, and because they occurred with a minimal magnitude of 2.6 and 2.5 on the Sunday and the Monday respectively. The agency also said that both the earthquakes were recorded to obtain in the same region in the western section of the Belle Plaine, but not on the exact locations and different days, as one on the Sunday and the other on Monday.

There was another mild earthquake that was reported to obtain in the region on the last Thursday just 10 miles west of the main region of Belle Plaine, but most of the residences were unaware of the incident, except some and the geological survey agency.

As per the agency’s previous reports on this month, there were small earthquakes were reported in the Jewell and Harper Counties of the Kansas state, just a few weeks ago.

On the other hand, there was a total of small to semi earthquakes observed in the state was 11 in the month of the March, and a total of 13 earthquakes in the last month of the April, so till now 9 total earthquakes occurred in this month.
