Mississippi Shooting Case Took 8 Lives, Says Police After Apprehended The SuspectIn Brookhaven, Mississippi, after shooting and killing eight people including a sheriff, and finally the police officials have apprehended the person behind all this on Sunday.

As per the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, which released a statement right after the arrest of the culprit were made by their spokesman Warren Strain, who says the shooting occurred on this Saturday night in the Lincoln County. There were three separate houses were involved in the shooting incident, out of them two were in Brookhaven, and one in Bogue Chitto, which are few kilometers from each other.

Still, now, the investigators are gathering evidence at all the three locations, which will help in placing proper charges on the suspect, who was apprehended in Brookhaven. While the suspect was identified as Cory Godbolt, who gave much insight about the incident, and he also shows his intention in killing all eight people, which includes his family and a police sheriff. The victims not entirely identified, but it was noted that one of the victims is the sheriff who tried to intervene in the matter and the other were Godbolt’s wife, and her step dad and mother, though it was not mentioned about the children.

The accused Godbolt, was sorry about killing the cop because he never intended to kill the person, and one the same time, he blamed the death of the cop on his wife’s family. Even the accused didn’t intend to surrender to the police, but he ran out of ammo, so he has to surrender; otherwise, he might kill himself.
