There has been some development in the murder case of hero Garda Adrian Donohoe. The suspect of this murder case could be extradited from the United States, and it might happen on Monday morning. It is expected that the suspect will be arrested from the Dublin Airport. So, the coming days are going to be important for this murder case.
The suspect is basically from South Armagh, and he is 25 years old. He was arrested by the officials of the Immigration and Control Enforcement department in New York. It happened on Thursday, and the reason behind his arrest was the expiration of his visa period. At present, he is locked in New Jersey’s Hudson Detection Centre.
The suspect is yet to be arrested and presented before a judge in the right country. However, things are not as simple as they appear. Initially, this guy was wanted in association with some trivial road traffic offence. However, no warrant has been issued or presented for his arrest in regard to the Adrian Donohoe’s murder case.
In case gardai get a chance to question the suspect in regard to the murder case then things would move more quickly for sure. However, imposing the charges on the suspect is not going to be an easy process.
As a matter of fact, the suspect had been working in Boston and New York, in the field of construction, but as an illegitimate immigrant. It was January 25, 2013 when Garda Donohoe was murdered during his duty hours. He was 41 yrs old.
