Among the lists of names, his foremost choice is Joe Lieberman who was a former Connecticut. Among the four candidates which he interviewed for the purpose at White House, Joe Lieberman was his great choice.
When he was asked at Oval Office appearance about the concerning director of the FBI, he said that he is pretty close to the decision. The announcement will be made very soon and new appointment of the FBI director will take place. Today Trump is on country trip which might take approximately 7 days or more to return.
He might also disclose the name before his departure. Moreover, it was found that Lieberman showed his thumbs up when he came out of the White House. He also claimed that it was pretty good meeting with the dear president Donald Trump.
Apart from Lieberman, other three candidates were Frank Keating, Richard McFeely and Andrew McCab. In one of his statement, Trump said that FBI would always remain special no matter whichever place one goes.
McCab was criticized as he turned out to be the director after Trump dismissed Comey. The president criticizes Comey due to its poor representation and appearance and the time of Congress ruling.
