Estimation Of Over 7,000 Human Bodies Was Believed To Have Buried On The Grounds Of Mississippi CampusIn Jackson, Mississippi, more than 7,000 human bodies could be buried on the campus of University of Mississippi Medical Center, which is an estimated report placed by the university governing body.

Some experts said there was a mental asylum in the place where this medical center is established, and when its patients died due to many circumstances, their bodies was being buried in the very place. Now the use of underground radar revealed that there were coffins underground of the place and it spread across 20 acres around the campus, where the current medical institution is standing.

The current medical body wants to exhume the bodies from the ground, as it wants to expand their medical center’s structures and the only suitable land they are having is the land where all the bodies are buried. As per newspaper, which reported the medical center is planning for alternatives to exhume the bodies because if they exhume each body separately, and then rebury them, it might cost them around $3,000 for each body that is far more what they have been expected.

They never thought of the huge surroundings; thus they need cheaper alternatives to cope up with the exhumation of the bodies. Even the center is planning to build a memorial at the place to remember the dead, as those bodies were timeworn, from almost 150 to 100 years old.

In 2014, the institution was constructing a parking garage in the premises when they discovered more than 1,000 coffins, but now it is more than seven times.
