Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony her ex husband have stayed as close friends from the time they slit and it is nearly six years that they are co-parenting their 9-year-old twins Maximilian David and Emme Maribel together working on projects, such as Lopez’s upcoming all-Spanish album.
They publicly share a kiss as Lopez honored Anthony the Latin Recording Academy’s Person of the Year at Latin Grammys in November, but the 47 year old star is aware that there will be no reunion soon anytime.
“Marc and I are good as we are,” told Jennifer on Watch What Happens Live to Andy Cohen when she was asked they two would get back together. She said, ‘There is actually reason for us not being together and we are great friends and parents ‘. She also added ‘That appears to be really better for both of us that we met at work and things go on in a magical way. As we are on stage we let it go and leave it there itself so, that’s it’.
Lopez and Anthony, 48, in a secret ceremony tied the knot in June 2004 in Beverly Hills at Lopez’s home. They dated before getting married for just six months. They met in 1998 first as friends when Anthony was in Broadway’s The Capeman starring.
They split in July 2011 after seven years of marriage, and their divorce got over in June 2014.
Anthony and Shannon de Lima, his estranged wife also announced a divorce. In the meanwhile, Lopez is dating Alex A-Rod Rodriquez, former MLB star for a few weeks. She said she enjoys dating and now it’s just fun and she is happy single.
